How to get your dog to collaborate in the shots 🐶📸

Many times I am asked this question: "How does Melo be so concentrated in the photos? What do you do to put him in a pose so that he doesn't move?"
I state that dogs being animals are not by nature inclined to be photographed, they will never stay in pose for hours waiting for your comfort.
But there are some tricks to make him appreciate this "game".
Because yes, for them it must be a game, a curiosity, not a constraint.
- Get a snack that your pet particularly likes (a biscuit, a piece of bread, a slice of ham, etc.) and always keep it close at hand. Always try to break it up, so as not to gorge it.
- Position the dog in the place where you decided to take a photo and shoot, keeping the treat clearly visible for the dog. Every so often, after a few photos, remember to give it to him, otherwise the game is not worth it!
- If your dog is not interested, try calling him, making verses, anything you know that makes him turn towards you. Or take his favorite game with you for a walk. Obviously this is subjective: Melo for example remains more concentrated with food; you have to do some tests.
- Final trick: when Melo is not really concentrated, if I went out with another person, I ask her to move away, as if she were to abandon the dog, while I stay with Melo to shoot: in this way he necessarily looks at him or her who he is leaving, and for a few seconds I can afford to take a shot properly done. Try it too!
I hope these tips have been useful to you! Happy reading!
