Things not to do on Instagram: the risks of some actions❌

Instagram is a platform for entertainment, this is clear.

Everyone just wants to have fun, do what they think it's right. However, if you want to create an attractive profile, there are actions, perhaps correct for you, that you should avoid:

- Follow / Unfollow = it's an action performed either manually or by a paid bot that over time comes to "destroy" your profile: it consists in following and suddenly unfollowing the users who have just returned your follow.

Why is it ruining your profile? Very simple: by performing this "trick" you would only create inactive followers, who are not interested in your profile but only in your follow.

The engagement would therefore be rather low. In addition, please note that you may be subject to a ban, as it's a prohibited action for Instagram.

- Following too many people = as much as it may be a gesture of courtesy, returning the follow to each person who follows you is counterproductive.

First of all because you would not be able to keep up with all those people, and you would lose all his posts (also because the algorithm shows you only some profiles); secondly then you would be a ghost follower for your friends.

On the other hand, following very few people is also wrong. In my view it would be better to follow about 300 to 900 people (but this depends on you)

- Being unsocial = Instagram is a social network, an app where you socialize with other users. It would be really ridiculous to think of growing homogeneously without interacting with anyone.

Therefore try to always reply to direct messages, to comments under your photos, and to weave some links within the application. If someone puts a poll on his story, always try to answer. What does it cost you? 10 seconds maybe. Just make a gesture of courtesy :)

- Brag about yourself / bring contempt towards others = there is no more wrong thing.

Why should you brag about a picture you took? Why should you despise the work of others? Unfortunately, there are many people today who do everything to feel superior.

Be friendly to everyone; so the others will be with you.

I conclude by saying an important thing: everyone does what he/she wants. With the above I don't want to force you to do anything.
